| Usages:
Prep Coat Plus is designed to be used in lieu of
"a thin skimcoat of joint compound" as described in the "Levels of Drywall
Finish" reported by AWCI and the Gypsum Association. |

| Job Conditions:
Minimum temperature of 50 degrees F (10 degrees C)
to be maintained 48 hours prior to application and until "dry" and stable. |
 |
| Surface Conditions:
Surface must be thoroughly dry, and free of dust and
foreign substances. Glossy surfaces should be dulled and metal surfaces primed. Particular
attention should be given to metal trims with large exposed surfaces, which ideally should
be primed before the application of Prep Coat Plus. |
 |
| Mixing:
Mix by stirring. Power mixing is not recommended. |
 |
| Thinning:
Not recommended. |
 |
| Equipment:
Airless application is recommended with a tip size
of .019" to .031" at an air pressure between 2700 and 3000 psi. |
 |
| Coverage:
Approximately 80-110 square feet per gallon when
applied at 15-20 mils WFT (9-12 OFT). Approximate coverages can vary. |
 |
| Drying Time:
When applied in accordance to the directions, Prep
Coat Plus will dry to the touch in approximately 50-60 minutes. |
 |
| Clean-up:
Clean tools and equipment with warm soapy water,
rinse with clean water. |
 |
